In today’s fast-evolving digital world, young people are more connected than ever before. However, with new opportunities come new challenges — among them, digital anxiety is becoming an increasingly urgent issue. Recognizing this need, the “Youth-Centered Digital Society” project has been launched on 06.04.2025. under the Erasmus+ KA2 program to equip young people and youth workers with the skills necessary to thrive in the digital age. Project will last 19 months till 05.11.2026. Project partners are non-governmental organization from Italy – YOUNET APS (Italy) and non-governmental organization from Turkey – Openact Association. Project is funded by Erasmus + programme, thanks to Agency for International Programs for Youth in Latvia.
The project aims to develop the skills to recognize and cope with digital anxiety, ensuring the well-being of young people online and offline. It also seeks to build the capacity of youth organizations across Europe and contribute meaningfully to the EU’s Digital Goals for 2030 and the European Year of Digital Citizenship.
Through a comprehensive set of activities, the project will produce valuable resources including field research, a training curriculum, a digital toolkit and awareness workshops, filling a significant gap in youth work practices.
To achieve its goals, Youth-Centered Digital Society will implement the following activities:
1.Kick-Off Meeting (KOM)
2.Field Study and Curriculum Development
3.Online Project Meeting
4.Transnational Youth Workers Education
5.Transnational Awareness Youth Workshop
6.Digital Toolkit Production
7.Local Multiply Meeting in Latvia
