Our New Volunteer

Hi! My name is Badri, I’m 21 years old and I’m from Georgia. Before coming to Latvia, I have already experienced volunteering work. I helped a local organization in Slovenia with diverse workshops, but this project was unfortunately short term so I wanted to proceed my volunteering work, but this time in a long term project, so I choose this beautiful and small country and my field where I work is children in kindergarten. I thought working with youngsters would be hard, but for me key to cooperate with them is to release your inner child. Rezekne is much like in my hometown, so I feel like I’m home. Beside coldness everyone here is very friendly and warm, hope my stay here will benefit myself and to local society.
