What is a youth exchange?
It is a short term (6-21 days) program for youngsters (13-30 years old) while the participants have an opportunity to get to know the host country`s culture, make new friends from different countries and have cultural events, as well. All the youth exchanges have a main topic (sport, ecology, culture, etc.), and participants take part in workshops and programs related to this core topic. The schedule is the same all the time: breakfast, energizer (some short, funny games to be played together), morning program, lunch, afternoon program, dinner, free program. Of course, it doesn`t mean that youngsters need to work very hard because the organizers think about the friendly atmosphere, games, a big variety of programs, so the time will fly very fast.
What is a mobility for youth workers?
The aim of youth worker mobility projects is to promote the professional development of youth workers in an international environment, thus enhancing the capacity of the organizations involving and improving work with youth. What kind of activities can be organized? Seminar, Training course, Contact making event, Study visit or Job shadowing.
