Youth exchange “Synergy 2”

European Association “World-Our Home” together with young, active and very creative young people organized Erasmus + Youth exchange “Synergy 2”.

From 30 July to 8 August 2025, Makašāni, Rēzekne district, Latvia became the beating heart of creativity – and what a journey it was! Latvia | Spain | Czechia | North Macedonia – 36 young creators, 6 artistic teams: Actors, Filmmakers, Dancers, Artists, Musicians and Content Creators.

Over 10 unforgettable days, we shared ideas, learned from each other, crossed cultural borders and poured our talents into one united goal – creating a powerful short film that reflects our shared energy, passion and friendship. The result? More than just a film – a living proof that when art meets collaboration, borders disappear and magic happens.

Huge thanks to every participant, leader and supporter who made “SYNERGY 2” not just a project, but an experience we’ll carry forever. Until we meet again – keep creating, keep inspiring and keep building bridges through art.

Erasmus+ KA2 project “Youth-Centered Digital Society”

In today’s fast-evolving digital world, young people are more connected than ever before. However, with new opportunities come new challenges — among them, digital anxiety is becoming an increasingly urgent issue.

Recognizing this need, the “Youth-Centered Digital Society” project was launched on 06.04.2025 under the Erasmus+ KA2 program to equip young people and youth workers with the skills necessary to thrive in the digital age. The project will run for 19 months until 05.11.2026.

The project partners are the non-governmental organization from Italy – YOUNET APS and the non-governmental organization from Turkey – Openact Association. This project is funded by the Erasmus+ programme, thanks to the Agency for International Programs for Youth in Latvia.

The project aims to develop skills to recognize and cope with digital anxiety, ensuring the well-being of young people online and offline. It also seeks to build the capacity of youth organizations across Europe and contribute meaningfully to the EU’s Digital Goals for 2030 and the European Year of Digital Citizenship.

Through a comprehensive set of activities, the project will produce valuable resources including field research, a training curriculum, a digital toolkit, and awareness workshops. To achieve its goals, the project will implement:

1. Kick-Off Meeting (KOM) 2. Field Study and Curriculum Development 3. Online Project Meeting 4. Transnational Youth Workers Education 5. Transnational Awareness Youth Workshop 6. Digital Toolkit Production 7. Local Multiply Meeting in Latvia 8. Local Multiply Meeting in Turkiye 9. Local Multiply Meeting in Italy 10. Dissemination and Sustainability Activities

Erasmus+ Seminar “Cultural Synergy and Psychology”

European Association “World-Our Home”
From June 9–15, 2025, the city of Rezekne, Latvia, became the meeting point for vibrant young leaders and youth workers from across Europe during the Erasmus+ seminar “Cultural Synergy and Psychology: Strengthening Youth Connections.”
This unique international event brought together 35 participants from 10 European countries – Estonia, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Serbia, Croatia, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Latvia – to explore how psychology and cultural exchange can be powerful tools in creating empathetic, connected communities.
Over the course of the week, participants engaged in:

  • Interactive Workshops
  • Theory Presentations and Practical Exercises
  • Group Discussions and Role-Playing
  • Cultural Presentations
  • Creative and Reflective Sessions
  • Collaborative Youth Initiatives

The seminar offered a safe and inspiring space for intercultural dialogue, where participants learned how cultural understanding and psychological tools can be used to bridge differences, reduce prejudices and promote emotional intelligence.
“This seminar showed how powerful cultural synergy is when combined with psychology. We’ve built real connections and planted seeds for future collaboration,” shared one participant.
Beyond the learning, the experience fostered friendships, cultural appreciation, and future partnerships, empowering young people to become changemakers in their communities.
Organized by: European Association “World-Our Home” In cooperation with: partner NGOs from 10 European countries Funded by: European Union and the Agency for International Programs for Youth in Latvia
As the seminar ends, its impact continues — in the ideas exchanged, the connections made and the future projects sparked. Together, we built bridges through culture and psychology — and this is just the beginning.
