Informative local seminars

In September and October 2024 European Association “World-Our Home” organized local seminars for young people from rural area to learn about European youth policy and the wide range of opportunities available through European programs. The events provided a comprehensive overview of how Europe supports young people in education, employment, participation and personal growth.

Participants drove into topics such as the European Youth Strategy, the European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus+ programs, gaining insights into how these initiatives foster inclusion, innovation and international collaboration. Through interactive sessions, real-life stories from program alumni and Q&A opportunities, participants discovered how to access funding, internships, training and volunteer placements abroad.

Seminars were very useful for young people, some of them heard about the possibilities of such programs for the first time. Many young people were from rural regions with fewer opportunities.
