International Youth Day
On 12th August 2024 European Association “World-Our Home” celebrated international Youth Day together with young people from rural area. Organisation organized some of workshops in cooperation with Municipality of Rezekne District. Recognizing the importance of empowering and connecting youth in less urbanized regions, the organization collaborated closely with the Municipality of Rezekne District to deliver a series of interactive workshops and activities.
The day was filled with opportunities for learning, creativity and networking. Participants explored topics such as leadership development, sustainable living, cultural exchange and entrepreneurial skills, among others. These workshops were tailored to address the unique challenges faced by rural youth, emphasizing community building and personal growth.
In addition to workshops, the event fostered dialogue between local leaders, youth and international guests, creating a platform for discussing the aspirations and needs of young people in rural communities. This celebration not only highlighted the talents and potential of the attendees but also strengthened the bonds within the Rezekne District community, underscoring the vital role of youth in shaping the future.
