European Association “World-Our Home” participated in the Youth exchange project “Earth, Wind and Fire” carried out at Jugendkulturarbeit in Oldenburg between 20 June 2024 and 04 July 2024.
The project involved 40 young participants from 7 countries: Germany, Georgia, Italy, Latvia, Spain, Ireland and Israel.
This project aimed to raise awareness about each person’s responsibility for the preservation of nature.
By encouraging individuals to observe and recognize their own (un)sustainable patterns and behaviors, it sought to promote learning and the adaption of positive changes in these patterns and behaviors.
Today’s world is full of challenges for young people, from online life to big global issues. That’s why it’s so important to know about positive and supportive ways to help them feel empowered and connected.
This project enabled young people to actively participate in the development of the project program, focusing largely on their learning
process and learning effect.
This project promoted the connection between young people and nature, even for those living in urban areas.
