Local seminar about environmental sustainability

This engaging seminar “Sustainable Futures: Empowering Rural Youth for Environmental Action” was designed to inspire and empower youth from rural areas to become proactive stewards of the environment. Through interactive sessions, hands-on workshops and group discussions, participants explored key topics such as climate change, sustainable living and the role of rural communities in driving environmental sustainability.

The seminar covered practical approaches to eco-friendly farming, waste management, renewable energy and conservation strategies tailored to rural contexts. Youth also gained insights into global environmental movements and opportunities to participate in green initiatives, including international programs like Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps.

By the end of the seminar, participants were equipped with actionable strategies to implement sustainable practices in their communities, contributing to a greener and more resilient future.
