Youth Forum in Rezekne

This 2025 year started very successfully for the European Association “World-Our Home” we were awarded the Honorary Nomination “The Driving Force of Youth in the City of Rezekne”!!!
On Friday, January 31, Rezekne Youth Forum “Inspire Rezekne” took place. At the event, we looked back at the achievements of the Rezekne City youth policy in 2024.
With great satisfaction, we can conclude that the year was interesting and full of challenges. The festive event honored the best youth sector aspirants, as well as the winners of honorary nominations – “Rezekne City Youth Inspirer”, “Rezekne City Youth Driving Force” and “Rezekne City Inspiration of the Year”.
The honorary nomination “Rezekne City Youth Driving Force” of 2024 was awarded to the European Association World-Our Home.
During its existence, this organization has demonstrated incredible activity and initiative, implementing projects that have significantly influenced public life, especially among young people. In 2024, the organization implemented 23 international projects with more than 28 international partner organizations – organized activities for young people and youth workers, strengthened the organization’s capacity and developed strategic activities, as well as promoted European awareness, solidarity and international cooperation among young people. The organization has been operating at the European level in the field of youth and culture for 25 years, and during this time many local and European projects have been implemented in Rēzekne, Latvia and elsewhere in Europe. Some of the main tasks of the organization are to promote the integration of young people into a united Europe, develop their skills and competences, promote personal and professional growth, as well as develop European awareness.
This was a special year, because the European Association “World-Our Home” / Pasaule mūsu mājas, Rēzekne celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2024 and thank you very much for appreciating our work! We are trying very hard to ensure that our young people from Rēzekne and Europe gain as much international experience as possible, to gain European awareness and to be inspired by other young people in the world, because “The world is our home”!!!
