European Association “World-Our Home” participated in the Erasmus + project Youth exchange project “A Mindful Journey with the Little Prince” from 4-11 June in Hungary.
This project aimed at helping youth to have a better understanding and awareness of personality and connect youth withtheir inner world. The development of selfknowledge has multiple benefits. Not only youth skills and attitudes develop, but also awareness improved about personal and community values, active citizenship, consciousness about the future and their role in active change. By developing yourself, dealing with mental health issues and taking steps to become independent and successful adult, at the end youth will be healthy, active, useful members of society.
Objectives of the project:
-Developing soft skills like self-discipline, responsibility, self-motivation, emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, problem-solving and proactivity.
-Developing attitudes like self-awareness, integrity, confidence, empathy and tolerance.
-Increasing resilience, resistance and stress tolerance so that they can succeed in life.
-Fostering the active participation in your local communities, to become agents of positive change, and apply the can-do mindset in your daily life.
-Strengthening the sense of belonging on European level, learn from differences and build on similarities, internalising the European values.
