Kick-off Meeting of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Youth-Centered Digital Society” has officially concluded – and what an inspiring and productive few days it has been!
From May 27th to 30th, Rezekne became a hub of ideas, energy and collaboration as project leaders and representatives from Latvia, Italy and Turkey came together to launch this forward-thinking project aimed at supporting young people in the digital era.
Hosted by the European Association “World-Our Home,” the meeting laid a strong foundation for the months ahead. Participants worked intensively on shaping the project’s methodology, defining roles and building a framework for communication and dissemination that will ensure the project’s message reaches young people across Europe.
A key focus of the event was tackling digital anxiety – an issue affecting more and more youth today. Through interactive sessions, open discussions and collaborative workshops, participants explored strategies to build digital resilience and promote mental well-being in an increasingly connected world.
Beyond the working agenda, the event was filled with meaningful cultural exchanges. Participants had the opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Rezekne, learn about Latvian culture and build lasting connections grounded in European values of cooperation and solidarity.
“We leave Rezekne with a shared vision, clear direction and a stronger sense of purpose,” said one of the team members. “This meeting showed us the power of youth-led collaboration in shaping a digital society that is not only innovative but also inclusive and human-centered.”
As the project moves into its next phase, partners are motivated and united in their mission to empower youth with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to thrive in today’s digital world.
Next steps: Project partners will begin field study and curriculum development and prepare for the international events in Italy and Turkey.
Stay connected as we continue this exciting journey toward a more digitally resilient, mindful and empowered generation!
