European Association \u201cWorld-Our Home\u201d participated in the event \u201cMe and EU Opportunities\u201d<\/strong>, which took place on January 16, 2026<\/strong>, in R\u0113zekne<\/strong>, at the ARPC \u201cZeimu\u013cs\u201d<\/strong> premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the first part of the event, discussions with decision-makers were organized. The topic of the discussion was \u201cYouth Awareness of EU Opportunities.\u201d<\/strong> Participants had the opportunity to express their opinions on this topic, ask questions to decision-makers and propose solutions while working in groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the second part of the event, all interested participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with non-governmental organizations<\/strong> offering volunteering opportunities, projects and international experience<\/strong>. Everyone could approach the organizations, ask questions about their interests and take part in the activities offered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

European Association \u201cWorld-Our Home\u201d also prepared activities for young people. In addition, interested participants had the opportunity to talk with our European Solidarity Corps volunteers<\/strong>, Riccardo from Italy<\/strong> and Sedef from Turkey<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, the event provided a valuable platform for young people to learn more about European Union opportunities, engage in meaningful dialogue with decision-makers, and connect with organizations offering international experiences. Participation in this event contributed to raising youth awareness and encouraging active involvement at both local and European levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
