\ud83d\udcc5 <\/strong>On September 20 (Saturday), we are pleased to invite you to the next event organized as part of the project “SURVIVE: Stories of Women and Children’s Resilience in World War II”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udccd This time, during city walks in Wroc\u0142aw and B\u0119dzin, we will explore the stories of female forced laborers in Germany, as well as mothers and children who lived in Poland during World War II.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first part of the event will begin at 10 a.m. in Wroc\u0142aw, where we will focus on the history of Festung Breslau, the foreigners\u2019 camp (the so-called Ausl\u00e4nderlager) and women\u2019s testimonies. The second part will take place at 4 p.m. in B\u0119dzin, where, while walking through the streets of the city, we will recall the lives of Jewish and Polish families during German occupation and the functioning of the ghetto. Finally, at 6 p.m. at the \u201cDomu Bojownik\u00f3w w Getcie\u201d, there will be a short presentation dedicated to the role of modern technologies in archiving and disseminating these valuable stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event is organized by the Spark Civic Accelerator Foundation in cooperation with the Cukerman\u2019s Gate Foundation, the Urban Memory Foundation and the Institute of National Remembrance – Wroc\u0142aw Branch, within the framework of the project “SURVIVE: Stories of Women and Children’s Resilience in World War II”, funded by the European Union under the CERV (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values) program, and implemented by the Spark Foundation together with partner organizations: YouNet, European Association World-Our Home, and Transylvania University of Brasov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
