European Association \"World-Our Home\" activity is supported by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission, within the framework of the Erasmus + program.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Summarizing the results of the work of European Association \"World-Our Home\" in 2023, we must say that the organization has been very active this year, projects have been implemented, activities have been organized for young people and youth workers, the organization has strengthened its capacity and formed the strategic activity, as well as promoted the European awareness, solidarity and international cooperation among young people. The organization is located in Rezekne, and it has been working in the field of youth and culture at the European level for 24 years, during which time many local and European projects have been implemented for the inhabitants of Rezekne, Latvia and Europe. Some of the main tasks of the organization are to promote the integration of Latvian youth into the united Europe, to develop young people's skills and competences, to promote personal and professional growth, as well as to develop European awareness.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
European youth projects, online and face-to-face seminars, conferences, non-formal education and experience exchange events, European voluntary work were implemented in 2023 with the support of Erasmus + program of the European Commission and within the framework of the \"Youth Code\" project. In addition, the organization offered the opportunity to learn foreign languages, receive information about programs and EU legislation. EA \"World-Our Home\" is one of the most active implementers of European youth projects in the Baltics.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
In 2023, EA \u201cWorld-Our Home\u201d implemented various European projects:<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
- In January, the representative of the organization participated in the contact building seminar in Macedonia \"Exploring European Volunteering\"\n\n- In March, the organization's representative participated in the contact building seminar in Spain \"Tejeredes\".<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
- In April, the international Erasmus + seminar \"New Erasmus- New Opportunities\" was organized in Rezekne, in which 35 participants from 11 European countries took part - Latvia, Germany, Croatia, Italy, Malta, Bulgaria, Spain, Lithuania, Turkey, Macedonia, Greece.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
-At the end of May, 4 representatives of the organization participated in a study visit in Croatia \"Youth Work in Croatia\".<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
-At the beginning of June, young people from Rezekne participated in the youth exchange project \"A Mindful Journey with a Little Prince\" in Croatia.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
- In June, the international Erasmus + training course \"Digital Youth Work\" was organized in Rezekne, in which 34 participants from 8 European countries took part - Latvia, Croatia, Italy, Bulgaria, Spain, Lithuania, Turkey and Poland.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
- In July, the international Erasmus+ seminar \"Synergy\" was organized in Rezekne, which was attended by 32 participants from 4 European countries - Latvia, Italy, Macedonia and the Czech Republic.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
- In August, 7 young people from Rezekne went to the youth exchange project in Lithuania \"Digital Transformation\"<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
- In July, activities in Rezekne were organized for a group of teachers from Poland in the framework of the project \"Transnational mobility of nonvocational adult education staff\". <\/pre>\n\n\n\n
- At the end of August, the representative of the organization took part in the advanced planning visit to Luxembourg within the framework of the \"Happiness for You(th)\" project, and in September the youth workers went to the training course for youth workers of the same \"Happiness for You(th)\" project in Bulgaria.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
- In September, 3 representatives of the organization participated in the Erasmus + training course \"Health On\" in Spain.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
- In October, the international Erasmus+ training course \"Power of Volunteering Projects\" was organized in Rezekne, in which 35 participants from 10 European countries took part - Latvia, Croatia, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Poland, Greece, Georgia, Armenia and Moldova.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
- At the end of October, 3 representatives of the organization participated in the European People Festival meeting of leaders in Spain, where the leaders discussed the programme of EPF 2024, its activities and participation of European countries in the EPF 2024 in Aranda de Duero, Spain, to which the active European citizens, dance groups, musicians and athletes will be invited to participate.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
- In November, 3 representatives of the organization participated in the seminar \"Digital Tools for Enhancing Youth Work\" in Spain.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
-At the end of November, 2 representatives of the organization took part in the seminar \"ConnESCTtion\" in Spain.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
- In December, workshops were organized on Climate Crisis, Ocean, Migration and the international online conference \"One World, One Future: A Transnational Dialogue on Climate Challenges\" of the \"Don't Call It Change\" program \"Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values\".  <\/pre>\n\n\n\n
In 2023 EA \"World-Our Home\" organized the statutory meetings and the general assembly to discuss the work plan for 2023 and 2024 and to plan the common projects. In 2023 the organization EA WOH coordinated the voluntary work projects in the European Solidarity Corps programme. 14 young European volunteers from Turkey, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia worked in Rezekne in 2023. These young people worked in various Rezekne organizations: EA \"World-Our Home\" office, as well as Rezekne Pensioners' Day Center, Rezekne Multifunctional center with disabled young people and preschool educational institution \"Nami\u0146\u0161\". The organization EA WOH is also a sending organization to the Voluntary work projects of the European Solidarity Corps programme. This year 3 young people from Rezekne were sent to the voluntary work project in Armenia.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
In 2023, a lot of work was done to organize successfully the local events and activities such as language courses, Open days in EA WOH, the workshops in cooperation with the Eastern Latvia Creative Services Center \u201cZeimuls\u201d, the participation event \"Coffee with Politicians\", \"Erasmus+ Days\", International Youth Day and other activities were organized. <\/pre>\n\n\n\n
EA \"World-Our Home\" became a Eurodesk information center in 2023.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
This year EA \"World-Our Home\" organized and focused on various activities for young people in order to promote young people's knowledge about Europe, European institutions and invite young people to participate in the European Parliament elections next June.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Thank you to everyone who is interested in youth work, the \"Erasmus +\" program, European languages, who participates in our local and international youth non-formal education projects.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
